BREEDING AND INTERPRETATION CENTRE OF CHATO MURCIANO

The farmer Mr. José Reverte has embarked for more than ten years on an ambitious project to recover the so called pig breed “Chato Murciano”, native to the Region of Murcia.

In collaboration with different institutions of the region, at present the project has been growing significantly and the brand chato murciano has been registered. Now more and more clients are requesting their products.

Efe8arquitectos enters the final phase of this ambitious project. Mr. José Reverte contacted us and explained his ideas. Then we presented our proposal to him to create a logistics centre, informative and visited by clients, who could admire the process of ecological breeding and finally taste their products.

Concilium Consultants

We are commissioned to design business cards for a consulting company in Cartagena, a representative element of the company that should reflect an aesthetics suitable for its seriousness and transparency.

Moai building

This project is aimed at designing unpretentious houses, but placing special emphasis on creating pleasant spaces without forgetting aspects such as lighting and sustainability. Since the shape of the plots was quite complicated and the surrounding area was still developing and highly deteriorated, we decided to solve the volume of the buildings with simple geometric shapes, being the only ornament their cast shadows.

This formal simplicity and the use of only three façade materials give the buildings an entity and aesthetic durability over time.

Photography studio

To design the photography studio, we worked on two premises: shape simplicity and colour neutrality, trying to give prominence to the photographs on the wall.

The simplicity of forms gives modernity and architectural purity to the studio, the geometric volumes of the façade frame the interior and draw the pedestrian´s attention. We tried to change dramatically the typical establishment to seek at all times comfort and direct treatment with the client.

Post office in Avila

Rehabilitation of ground and lower-ground floors and specific interventions on the roof and the rest of the building.

The main pathologies to be solved were water leaks and damp on the lower-ground floor. To solve the problems, we carried out a concrete slab with a ventilation chamber, a drainage system with the installation of bilge pumps and a wireless electro-osmosis system to reverse the polarity of rising damp.

Mar Menor and its environment

It has been said, with good reason, that architecture is the material expression of how a society thinks, feels and expresses itself in a given time and place. And how today’s society expresses itself, feels and thinks in general is clearly expressed when we gaze at the architectural works that, showing no consideration, have destroyed in recent decades a large part of our territory and cities.

FLAT REFURBISHMENT IN SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA

Project to refurbish a flat in Santiago de La Ribera. We fulfilled a comprehensive study of the layout of the house, aimed at a couple with children, creating a modern environment. Building orientation was used to improve ventilation and lighting, resulting in a completely improved house.

REFORMER CLINIC IN CARTAGENA

We receive a request to renovate a physiotherapy clinic in Cartagena. We carried out the refurbishment of the premises adapted to new services included after the opening of the clinic. A functional and bright interior architecture is proposed to develop their business activity and facilitate an optimal work environment.

We removed partition walls and adapted the new resulting routes between them, creating wider spaces.
